    JOB DESCRIPTION

    This program is a 10-week full-time opportunity that starts on June 6th, 2022 and will end on August 12, 2022.

    Locations: Ri-Woonsocket; CT-Hartford

    This program has positions available at multiple work office locations across the country.     About this business area:

    Our goal is to provide comprehensive documentation and point all of CVS Health IT and business to clear guidance that details exactly what they should be doing, where and how, as part of a new, more agile and cloud-oriented but compliant Greenfield Software Lifecycle or Brownfield Software Lifecycle, depending on whether you are developing a new system from scratch or migrating.

    Our mission is to cover all areas of the lifecycle to make sure anyone at any level can understand and follow CVS’ target state and recommendation. In addition, this site will define and publish any foundational areas in our Enterprise where we should be leveraging Agnostic platforms which are portable across cloud providers and not purely native services tied to a provider (e.g. we consider Identity a foundational area where we should take an Agnostic approach.)

    You will work on:

    • Evaluate new features and system requirements by developing working prototypes
    • Support design, implementation, and testing of reusable software components for cloud platforms

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Meet educational requirements (see education section)
    • Experience with cloud technologies such as Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, AWS etc.
    • Ability to Write architecture/design documentation

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Demonstrated leadership experience.
      • Examples include: active roles in student or social organization activities, sports, or school or work-related projects
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Internship or work experience in related field such as business or healthcare
    • Have an interest in obtaining full-time position within CVS Health upon graduation
    • Demonstrated leadership experience and initiative
    • Strong aptitude for learning new technologies
    • Scripting skills in the area of nodejs/python, bash/shell

    EDUCATION

    • You should currently be pursuing an MS in Computer Science or similar post-graduate degree.
    • Have an anticipated graduation date between September 2022 and August 2023
