THE CHALLENGE
Digital Transformation is critical to the future of GE Appliances, a Haier Company (GEA). GEA Our Digital Technology (DT) group is a critical business partner, working to develop imaginative ways to connect technology, appliances and people while working on high-priority initiatives with world-class experts.
At GE Appliances, we offer a post-graduate leadership development program for those interested in the future of our digital transformation. The Digital Leadership Development Program (DLDP) provides you with two years of in-depth information technology experience working on technical business solutions and finding innovative ways for us to deliver an exceptional ownership experience. You will define your own path, through four challenging six-month rotations that strengthen your skills while building relationships through networking and leadership exposure opportunities.

Successful candidates will be able to:
Set goals & objectives for your rotation with your assignment leader
Lead teams across multiple levels of the business through influencing
Use initiative to find and develop process improvements
Assist your team with development and execution of project ideas
Develop and demonstrate analytical approach to problem-solving
Demonstrate the ability to work independently

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Completed Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field with a 3.0 Cumulative GPA Minimum
Live in Louisville KY or be willing to relocate to Louisville, KY post-hire
Unrestricted Work Authorization now and in the future
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Prior intern, co-op, or research experience in information technology
A strong commitment to a career in technology and passion/aptitude for IT
Strong analytical and technical skills
Demonstrated problem solving abilities
Leadership experience inside and/or outside the classroom
Relevant coursework in IT-related disciplines
Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
General business / finance understanding

Most positions are located in Louisville, KY (our Corporate HQ). Assignments are also available in Camden, SC; Decatur, AL; LaFayette, GA; Selmer, TN. Housing and relocation assistance is available for eligible students.
