Job Description

Working on-site at our Burbank corporate headquarters, the Developer will:

• Use business requirements, market research and user feedback to assist in developing scenarios, use cases, and high-level requirements for the customer-facing corporate portal, including the company catalog
• Design sketches, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, interaction models, specifications and prototypes
• Apply design patterns that scale for Information Technology Partners enterprise product solutions
• Give presentations to communicate the design vision and align design principles; demonstrate features and flows through mockups and prototypes
• Conduct user research and usability testing sessions and ensure findings are embedded throughout the product development lifecycle
• Leverage the unique insights gained from building prototypes to improve the technical and experiential quality of designs and work directly with engineering teams through delivery of products

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree, or equivalent degree, in Design, HCI, related field or equivalent professional experience within the design field
• Minimum 5 years of professional working experience in UI/UX Design
• Fluency in best practices for web-based information architecture and design, as well as strong knowledge of usability principles and techniques
• Visual design expertise demonstrated through mockups and style guides
• Demonstrated history of acquiring user data (e.g., conducting usability studies, user interviews, contextual inquiry)
• Excellent communication, presentation and storytelling skills
• Ability to visually communicate complex systems and processes
• Possess good technical understanding preferably in HTML5 and CSS3 to discuss design alternatives and solutions with developers
• Experience designing for a variety of form factors including mobile and desktop
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Ability to work in a start-up style environment, where iteration is encouraged
• Proficient with standard design tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Adobe XD, and Sketch
• Fluent in English with a track record of presenting to and influencing senior management
• Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and analytical skills
