    Our BUSINESS PROJECT MANAGER is just that. You will _manage _tasks as you work directly with the Owner/CEO of the company. YOU WILL TAKE ON SIGNIFICANT PROJECTS ON BEHALF OF THE COMPANY/CEO. YOU WILL PERFORM RESEARCH AND COMPLETE TASKS ON FINANCIAL, LEGAL AND COMPLIANCE ISSUES; AND YOU WILL COMPLETE A VARIETY OF ADDITIONAL BUSINESS OPERATIONAL ASSIGNMENTS AS REQUIRED.

    The job is to act as an intermediary between the CEO and clients, employees, vendors, government agencies, etc. In point of fact, this role may manage other employees and the office in general, to some extent, in order to accomplish these tasks on the CEO’s behalf.

    The Business Project Manager captures and processes a large volume of incoming information across a range of channels (emails, action items from meetings, verbal requests, task updates, etc.). TASKS INVOLVING ACCOUNTING, AUDITS, CONTRACTS AND LEGAL-RELATED ISSUES WILL BE IN YOUR WHEELHOUSE among a myriad of other subjects that involve the day-to-day running of a multi-million dollar business. YOU WILL ORGANIZE THE INFORMATION ACCORDING TO PROJECT AND TASK, MAKING IT READILY ACCESSIBLE TO THE NECESSARY STAKEHOLDERS. You will interpret the importance of each piece of information to relevant projects and how it impacts overall priorities – and you will update priorities, projects, and tasks accordingly.

    You need to be multi-talented to succeed.  We’re looking for someone who feels energized by tracking and arranging a large number of “rapidly moving pieces”, while also diligently adhering to procedures for ensuring key information is retained and clearly communicated. Our ideal candidate is extremely energetic, with a strong business sense, innate ability to contextualize, and an insatiable desire to grow.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Capture, process, and contextualize extremely high volume of information, arriving across multiple channels.
    • Track and prioritize projects and tasks across every business area and partner.
    • Interpret complex task interdependencies, reprioritizing rapidly in dynamic situations.
    • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure shared understanding and expectations.
    • Follow-up consistently to ensure necessary information is available according to schedule.
    • Complete assorted tasks and projects, as necessary.

    • Fluency in, or ability to learn quickly, multiple project management methodologies and supporting applications.
    • J.D. or MBA and 3-5 years related business experience.
