Job Description

The Cash Flow Analyst will assist in the cash forecasting process, ensuring the timely preparation of monthly and yearly cash forecasts. This position will also review and understand contractual agreements, ensuring that all financial obligations are met. Additionally, this position will be responsible for brainstorming/implementing process improvement ideas, documenting changes to business processes, and ad-hoc special projects.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist with the daily accounting activities and provide general office support with a variety of clerical activities and related tasks including:

·        Maintain financial models and prepare monthly forecasts for the P&L as well as the balance sheet and financial statement

·        Provide monthly commentary, variance analysis and recommendations on actuals and forecast trends

·        Coordinate cash landings

·        Assist in other cash flow reporting, presentations and analytical initiatives as necessary

·        Create invoices based upon completed work and deliverables. Able to process Accounts Receivable in a timely manner

·        Process Accounts Payables in a timely manner to meet contractual obligations

Qualifications

EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE

·        Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance or related field preferred

·        3-5 years relevant work experience (or a combination of education and equivalent work experience)

MINIMUM REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

·        Strong working knowledge of: Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, Accounting software (Sage, Xero or QuickBooks)

·        Must possess strong quantitative and analytical skills combined with solid business and financial acumen

·        Knowledge and experience with GAAP

·        Must have a passion for accuracy and a desire to understand the ‘why?’

·        Must be detail oriented while being able to think big picture

·        Strong relationship building skills and a highly professional client service orientation

·        Must be an excellent team player who possesses solid interpersonal and organizational skills

·        Excellent communicator in both oral and written settings

·        Flexible, special-projects orientation coupled with solid multi-tasking abilities

·        High energy level, strong work ethic
