Job Description

We are looking for Junior level IT Project Manager to assist in the management of multiple projects while providing project management advice to companies and organizations. This role will identify project goals, write project charters, scope and coordinate projects, set timelines and schedules, collaborate with various teams, track the progress of projects, monitor budgets and report results and progress toward objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

·        Write detailed project charters

·        Translate technology infrastructure requirements (high-level and functional)

·        Provide realistic estimates regarding tasks (costs, timelines, and resources)

·        Scope various project aspects to ensure coordination of goods, services and activities

·        Create/maintain a detailed project plan (work breakdown structure)

·        Proactive communication with sponsors, stakeholders and team members

·        Assist in management of the project scope, deliverables and timeline

·        Oversight of the materials budget

·        Manage the scope change approval process

·        Facilitate project closure and lessons learned

Qualifications

·        Bachelor’s Degree or higher

·        1-2 Years in a Jr. Project Manager role

·        Working knowledge of IT technical infrastructures, equipment and network systems

·        Excellent written and oral communication skills

·        Experience with at least one named project management methodology (Agile preferred)

·        Experienced with Computer operations and networks

·        Awareness of Microsoft and VMWare server technologies

·        Awareness of Microsoft and Apple client device technologies

·        Full system life cycle perspective and experience 

·        Exceptional customer service skills

·        Desire and ability to learn

·        Ability to work within a team

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Office environment in our Burbank, CA headquarters. May involve occasional overnight travel to client sites, primarily in the Midwest.

Will generally sit for long periods of time and spend several hours per day using a computer and other office equipment. May occasionally be required to lift up to forty pounds
