    Job Description

    Join our team as an IT Specialist and become one of the authors of our story. The IT Specialist supports hardware and software for a Luxury Resort and will need to be able to provide on-site support for the technological needs of the daily operations, for guests of the resort, residential owners for basic WiFi needs, and team members who may work on site or remotely. Work is conducted primarily at the resort with occasional remote work required as the operation requires.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Technical support for end-users using Windows Operating Systems on Laptop and Desktop computers and a small minority of MAC laptops.

    • Mobile Device support

    • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues

    • Manage Windows Servers being used for file & print services, plus an array of specialized services that support resort-based software.

    • Support Restaurant POS system.

    • Support VoIP system basic needs and engage with the vendor for more advanced requirements

    • New user setup for Microsoft Active Directory/G Suite/Office 365/PMS and POS systems

    • Manage user account information including rights, security, and systems groups.

    • Hourly Rate: $28.85

  • Qualifications

    Required Qualifications

    • Experience with networking, including Ethernet switching DNS DHCP IP Addressing and VLANs

    • Windows Operating systems. Windows 11 & Server 2012 through 2019

    • Office applications including Microsoft Office and G Suite.

    • Multi-tasking; ability to prioritize effectively and handle multiple projects at once

    • Excellent problem solving/ analytical skills;

    • Experience in the Hospitality Industry a Plus

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience with PMS Opera Cloud

    • Experience with POS Lightspeed

    • Powershell knowledge
