    Job Description

    We are seeking a detail-oriented Information Technology Support Specialist to join our team in New York, United States. In this role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive technical support, maintaining IT infrastructure, and ensuring smooth operation of computer systems and networks.

    • Respond to and resolve technical support tickets, providing timely solutions to end-user issues
    • Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network problems
    • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, software applications, and network equipment
    • Perform regular system maintenance and updates to ensure optimal performance
    • Monitor system performance and implement preventive measures
    • Create and maintain technical documentation for systems and processes
    • Provide remote desktop support to end-users
    • Implement and maintain security measures to protect company data
    • Collaborate with IT team members to improve support processes and procedures
    • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
    • 2+ years of experience in IT support or similar technical role
    • CompTIA A+, Network+, or equivalent technical certifications
    • Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts
    • Proficiency in Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite
    • Experience with help desk support systems and remote desktop tools
    • Demonstrated ability in system monitoring and maintenance
    • Basic scripting and automation skills
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
    • Excellent technical documentation skills
    • Knowledge of information security best practices and procedures
    • Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize multiple tasks
    • Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation
    • Experience with IT service management principles and practices
