JOB TITLE: TECHNOLOGY SOURCING ANALYST - INTERMEDIATE
LOCATION: SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA
DURATION: 7 MONTH W2 CONTRACT

RESPONSIBILITIES:
You’ll navigate across the Company to negotiate hardware, software, and services contracts and renewals of up to $500K in value per contract.
You will be responsible for executing on high-volumes of transactional work by working independently in ambiguous environments.
Improve purchasing compliance to IT procurement policy and category strategy
Reduce cycle time on IT hardware and enterprise software order fulfillment
Identify additional savings opportunities
Reduce amount of time Gap employees spend in placing, tracking IT Hardware and Enterprise software orders
You will report to the Director of Strategic Sourcing for Technology & Professional Services
Meet or exceed Sourcing Department’s performance targets in hardware, software, and services contracts
Leverage data-driven interpretations and key financial data in order to negotiate and close high volumes of technology contracts
Demonstrate learning agility by quickly coming up to speed on new or unfamiliar technologies with the aim of successfully negotiating a contract and/or renewal.
SKILLS:
1-3 years of professional experience in management consulting, strategic sourcing, law, or supply chain – including experience working on software, SaaS, hardware, and services contracts.
Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or related discipline; MBA, JD, or advanced degree advantageous, but not required.
Understanding of supplier base, market trends, pricing models and contract structures
Risk and financial modeling skills
Project management experience and Proficient in MS Office Suite
Excellent planning and prioritization skills with the ability to multitask and maintain performance by adapting to change
Demonstrated skill in planning and leading negotiations
Excellent verbal, presentation, and written skills
A "can-do" approach with demonstrated high-levels of motivation
