    Engineering Project Specialist Job Description - Program Manager II

    Location: Redmond, WA
    Duration:
    +12 months with a scope of extension or conversion

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Work closely with program managers, engineering team, global supply managers, business development team, and operational team to closely track project deliveries and budget
    • Communicate clearly to vendor and Facebook internal team on logistic management, PO/invoice status, and materials inventory status
    • Collaborate with vendor, international local custom, and supply chain carrier to make sure materials delivery and custom clearance on time. Ability to solve supply chain or logistics issues with optimized shipping lead time. Innovative way to manage materials in a neat format
    • Initiate and be able to locate sourcing for standard materials or raw materials. Build up connections with CM or vendors with fast turnaround time when experiencing material shortage
    • Ability to work with multiple vendors and projects at the same time with experience on fast build and development cycles
    • Ability to travel internationally to support builds when travel ban is lifted
    • Provide visibility into any potential risks, issues and blockers and develop mitigation plans.
    Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of supply chain issue and experienced shipping lead time management
    • Strong ability to track clear to build status and creatively manage materials to support build on time
    • Excellent communications skills and interpersonal skills to internal team, external vendors, and supply chain
    • Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Project, Excel, Word
    • Self motivated and high sensitivity of urgency on solving logistic issues in ambiguous situations creatively

    Education/Experience:
    • BA/BS degree or higher, preferably in a quantitative field (Industrial Engineering with experience Supply Chain, Logistics, or related discipline)
    • 3+ years of professional experience, ideally with program management, process improvement, planning, and/or consulting within an engineering or product function in a fast-paced business
