    JOB TITLE: PROGRAM MANAGER II

    LOCATION: NEW YORK OR MENLO PARK, CA

    DURATION: 3+ MONTHS DUTIES:

    Recruiting is a core strategic driver of Facebook's success. We have a world-class team working together to help drive our ambitions and scale to the next level. We are looking for a Program Manager to work at the intersection of global operations and project management to help drive recruiting initiatives. The Program Manager will focus on program delivery and process improvements. This person will be part of the Global Recruiting Programs and Operations team and partner closely with Global Recruiting teams, cross functional partners such as Product Engagement Managers, Legal and Compliance to standardize operations where necessary. Our focus is to deliver an efficient, productive and scalable global recruiting model. This is a 3-6 month contractor position with opportunities in Menlo Park, San Francisco or New York.

    SKILLS:

    • Facilitate regional process discovery workshops to support a larger global operations initiative to understand current state processes, variance and drivers
    • Follow standard implementation/project methodology (e.g. mobilize, plan, prepare, design, build, transition, stabilization and close)
    • Define, manage and escalate project risks and issues as appropriate
    • Evaluate current recruiting processes to develop an automated and scalable global recruiting strategy
    • Investigate and synthesize ways to improve existing processes and fix pain points through automation, streamlining and/or shared service model(s)
    • Define and document recruiting workflows, processes and procedures
    • Develop and prioritize recruiting and sourcing strategies that are in line with company's business strategy, global recruitment strategy and recruiting/company policies
    • Advise Product Engagement Managers on process challenges across the recruiting organization to help drive future system enhancements
    • Collaborate with applicable XFN partners to solution or redefine current operational pain points or requirements

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    • 5+ years of project or program management and/or consulting experience with focus on Recruiting, HR and/or Operations
    • Experience creating and managing project governance (requirement/scoping, project plan, meeting facilitation, risk/issue identification and mitigation)
    • Experience leading process improvement projects with proven record of increasing operational efficiency
    • Experience working with recruiting tools and systems
    • Experience formulating process change impact analysis with subsequent training and communication strategies
    • Experience working with cross-functional partners throughout a project or implementation lifecycle
    • Experience working autonomously with proper time management and multi-tasking experience across concurrent priority projects
    • Experience working across various levels of the organization while building trust and fostering collaboration
    • Experience using MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio or other process mapping software)
    • Experience presenting organizational and process flow content to leadership audiences

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • PMP or Six Sigma certification
    • Experience working in tech-industry or start-up environments
    • Strategic, analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Previous experience as a Recruiting or Operations Manager/Lead
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
