MARKETING MANAGER (JUNIOR)
Location: San Francisco, CA
Duration: 9 months (W2 Contract)
LEADING RETAIL COMPANY
The Site Promotions Associate Manager is responsible for supporting the Promotions Marketing team in the development, execution, and reporting site & email placements for the leading retail company. The position will report to the Marketing Manager Promotions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
QA email proofs and beta links for the US and Canada markets.
Maintain the marketing calendar and ensure the customer is receiving a cohesive & meaningful experience across both site & email for the US market
Reporting: contribute to weekly business reporting by pulling promotion performance (Venus).
Contribute to weekly channel reporting in Adobe Analytics.
Additional ad hoc reporting as requested by the Marketing team.
Competitor research (site and email) for key promotional holidays.
Compile and maintain competitor tracking decks to share with the team, as needed.
Assist in strategy & execution of promotions for the US and Canada markets
Administrative support and additional projects as required.
SKILLS:
Experience in online marketing, merchandising or other aspect of online retail required.
Strong sense of urgency and ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Political savvy and the ability to navigate a complex organization.
Ability to deal with ambiguity effectively, and with a positive attitude.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple projects.
Outstanding organizational skills and project management experience: ability to manage/prioritize multiple projects simultaneously, learn on the fly as necessary.
Excellent attention to detail required.
Strong excel skills, Omniture experience strongly preferred.
REQUIRED:
BA/BS in Marketing, Business, Communications, Fashion/Merchandising or similar.
3 years relevant experience.
