    Item Processing Supervisor

    Location: San Francisco - Remote

    Duration: 6+ Months

     

    The Item Processing Supervisor is responsible for the day to day management of various functions
    in Processing Services. This position will ensure that sound processes are in place in order to improve efficiency, reduce risk and support new business. The Supervisor will help guide team members in their daily functions to ensure efficient and effective processes. The Supervisor is responsible for policies, processes, operations procedures, compliance, support, systems, risk, and
    reporting for various functions. The Supervisor must be able to make sound decisions and communicate effectively with team members, other departments and senior management. The Supervisor will also coach, develop, and otherwise supervise their staff.

    What you’ll do as an Item Processing Supervisor:
    ? Leadership/Management - Supervise, assist and evaluate operations staff by providing coaching and professional development. Motivate, promote and direct staff to meet Department's goals. Ensure satisfactory audit results of Item Processing Operations. Deal
    with escalated customer service calls and emails Maintain open line of communication between staff and management.
    ? Perform detailed reviews of internal processes to verify accuracy and completeness.
    ? Responsible for corporate and department projects. Represents Deposit Services on multi-department committee delivering concise logically written and oral presentations.
    ? Responsible for the compliance, monitoring and reporting for Deposit Services. Reports should provide further direction to management. Responsible for all daily, monthly, quarterly and yearly production reporting to senior management
    ? Represents Processing Services on multi-departmental committees
    ? Respond to audit requests; correct audit exceptions
    ? Develop and implement recommendations for strategic improvements as necessary.
    ? Ensure that written procedures are consistently reviewed and updated to reflect current process.

    You could be a great fit if you have:
    ? Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
    ? 2 to 5 years of Supervisory/management experience
    ? Ability to operate in a "roll up your sleeves" entrepreneurial environment without a large infrastructure. Makes things happen with available resources
    ? Able to successfully meet goals in a highly fluid working environment.
    ? Strong working knowledge of MS Office
    ? Process and deadline oriented
    ? Must be able to forge effective working relationships with a variety of personalities

    Job demands:
    ? Must be able to review and analyze data reports and manuals; must be computer proficient.
    ? Must be able to communicate effectively via telephone and in person.
