ACCOUNTANT INTERMEDIATE 

Location:San Francisco

Duration:6 months (W2 Contract)

JOB DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform close, forecast and budget for Risk Management.

• Close functions include preparing journal entries and account reconciliations, quarterly certification of the 10Q & 10K for Risk Management items

• Assist in the quarterly preparation to support the accrual balances for Workers Compensation & General Liability Claims Accruals

• Assists with preparation of Risk Management budgets and allocations of cost of risk to Divisions

• Coordination of Risk Management SOX compliance

• Prepares the true ups for the Workers Compensation and General Liability losses based on the actuary report

• Supports Claims team with statistical analysis as requested

• Manage monopolistic state workers compensation billing and accounting

• Validate and process invoices for claim administrator, insurance premiums and consultants

• Oracle, strong excel skills

• Detailed oriented, organized and manages to deadlines

REQUIREMENTS:

• 2- 4 years of related work experience.

• BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
