    JOB TITLE: Events Operations Analyst III (Strategic Events - Finance and Operations Contractor)

    LOCATION: San Francisco, CA

    DURATION:5 months contract

    As a member of the Strategic Events Finance and Operations team, you will support the financial planning and spend execution of key customer facing events including Dreamforce, Connections, TDX, and World Tours and our presence at world glass events such as The World Economic Forum. . This position demands exceptional collaboration skills, as you will need to work closely with various marketing teams, outside agencies and our senior executives. You must possess excellent communication skills, outstanding attention to detail, and an unrestrained desire to master and contribute to the best practices of what has made our events so press worthy.

    Responsibilities:

    • Budget planning and execution

    • Spend execution support

    • Procurement process execution (PR / PO processes)

    • Vendor management and payment support

    • Contract execution support

    • Spend reporting / analysis (in multiple currencies)

    • Ad hoc events specific financial analysis

    • External relationship (agencies, vendors) management

    • Cross-functional internal team collaboration including marketing operations, finance, accounting, strategic sourcing, international counterparts and others.

    Essential Required Skills/Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree or higher and 5+ years successful budget management experience preferably planning large, complex events & programs (product launches, conferences, executive programs and trade shows).

    • Excellent quantitative, written, and presentation skills

    • Exceptional project and time management skills highly organized, detail focused, results-driven, and accountable.

    • Outstanding spoken and written communication skills, as well as superb listening skills, with an ability to present complex ideas in a clear, concise fashion to a variety of audiences.

    • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and drive work independently, working with deadlines in a fast paced environment.

    • Excellent interpersonal skills with a solid ability to deal professionally with senior executives, vendors, and team members at all levels of the organization.

    • Ability to manage stress and last-minute, urgent requests.
