JOB TITLE: WIRELESS NETWORK ENGINEER II

LOCATION: MENLO PARK, CA

DURATION: 6+ MONTHS W2 CONTRACT WITH POSSIBLE EXTENSION OR CONVERSION

DUTIES:

• Validate network plans for Fiber (WDM, DWDM, CWDM, Routes), RAN (LTE/3G/5G), Microwave (PTMP, PTP, MESH, NLOS) and Wi-Fi

• Validate UI and other product features (such as TCO, ROI, NPV, LOS, Link budget, RAN Capacity modeling, Coverage analysis etc)

• Query, inspect and edit GIS data

• Communicate detailed analyses to support decision making

• Develop processes for human validation and quality

• Ensure consistency in process and results across the team

• Measure and track KPIs and metrics

SKILLS:

• BS in a technical field (Engineering etc.)

• Experience working with Atoll, Planet EV, Path-loss, 3-GIS, ArcGIS

• Experience in Wireless Backhaul, Fiber and Radio Access Planning

• Experience with OpenStreetMap or MapInfo

• Understand mm-Wave and 5G concepts

EDUCATION: BS in a technical field (Engineering etc.)
