POSITION CLASSIFICATION: SKIP TRACER / INVESTIGATOR
We are currently looking for a full-time Skip Tracer / Investigator in our Mesa, AZ office. We are looking for someone that is self-motivated and can work in a fast paced environment.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
A Skip Tracer / Investigator supports the organization by locating hard-to-find people with unpaid collection accounts. You will be responsible for locating individuals who have defaulted accounts by checking various data sources. Skip Tracer / Investigators use computer programs designed to track individuals throughout the legal process. Skip Tracer / Investigators may be trained on many different functions all of which support the company’s goal of making our clients the top priority.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain a portfolio of defaulted accounts to obtain information and find defendants for service of process while staying within time constraints
Using public and private databases to locate place of abode, employment and asset information
Generate outbound phone calls & emails perform residency and place of employment verifications (external contacts include: payroll companies, leasing offices and courts)
Answer inbound phone calls & emails to continue with locating efforts of defaulted accounts
Maintain an organized system in order to ensure files are processed in an urgent manner to meet court deadlines
Process incoming/outgoing legal documents to ensure timely processing
Interacting with various departments within the company to answer questions and resolve issues
Make cost effective decisions in best interest of the organization
Make specific effort to look for continuous process improvements and discuss with Management
Meet production goals established by management
REQUIREMENTS:
Skip Trace / Investigations (Preferred)
High school or equivalent
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines and goals
Possess strong analytical skills
Excellent writing, typing and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-functional environment
Ability to utilize Microsoft application, including: Excel, Word and Access

Monday - Friday
Day Shift

Salary: Depending on Experience
