Job description,/skill sets required not limited to the following: • Responsible for installation, maintenance, configuration, troubleshoot and monitoring of Servers and attached storage (NAS & SAN). • Design highly available solution based on business requirements and do a seamless update of patches and firmware. • Troubleshoot hardware and Operating System errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues • Build an internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals and IT policies. Provide the same to IT staff for planning and implementing new or upgrades of IT infrastructure • Perform regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures • Responsible for capacity, storage planning, and database performance • Provide technical support for both hardware and software issues encounter • Perform day to day server administration tasks including backup & restore. • Experience with Linux (different flavors of Linux), Windows & VMware technologies including VSAN running on heterogeneous hardware like Blade Servers, Discrete Servers. Expertise in OS parameters and their impact. • Exposure to HPUX and Solaris. • Experience in scripting (Windows, Unix) and other language. • Create weekly report. • Lead Technical efforts for software upgrade, patch updates, data migration, for server software. • Apply configuration and tuning standards in accordance with Microsoft and Linux recommendations and clients requirements. • Develop and maintain system documentation for server/software configuration and customization's. • Work with different teams like Network, Security, HPC, EC for arranging the resource (network access, compute (Clients cloud) etc.) • Expertise in administration of IIS (Internet Information Server) and Apache Web Servers including installation, configuration, monitoring, upgrade and Web Application installation. • Knowledge of computer diagnostics and installation, to include hardware/software troubleshooting and networking  

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years experience with Windows and UNIX (Linux) server administration including Active Directory, Domain Name Services and DHCP. At Least five years direct I.T. industry experience . Minimum Education: BS Degree with experience in Infrastructure. (Prefer MCSE, Vmware, RHEL)
