You can handle with ease at least three different workstreams in tandem while being able to deliver on-time with the highest quality. You perform tasks independently and can generate a multitude of unique concepts with some input from other designers. You can clearly articulate the design rationale and understand the need to compromise at times. You understand the needs and pains of the end user groups which are comprised of pharmacists (clinical and informatics) of varying levels.

    First-year objectives

    3. Develop a working knowledge of  Unified Design Standards and how they’re applied across product lines.

    4. Maintain Axure prototypes across multiple products for Sales (ASHP) and internal team trainings.

    5. Create a test plan, screener, moderate and report out on at least one usability test, card sort or ethnographic observation with internal users/SMEs, leveraging existing templates and processes.

    6. Generate proposed future functionality workflows which tie back to product roadmaps.

    7. Moderate, plan and report on a validation test quarterly based on changing user needs.

    SOFT SKILLS

o Design leader - be able to develop unique design ideas/thinking without the need for input from others. Ability to independently conduct user interviews, moderate studies (of at least 5 users per study), knowledge of usability testing processes (remote and in-person) and creating reports for a variety of tests.

o Collaborative – Create trust and gain respect from the product team leads. Use concise and strong communication, do not speak in circles. You are open-minded and stay curious about the possibilities.

o Confident - be able to communicate the reason and thinking behind a design pattern and design decisions. Act decisively and independently, knowing when to ask for help, and when to be your own critic.

o Partner – proven success partnering with team members to deliver high-quality, on-time deliverables with evolving requirements within short-timeframes. Maintain a ‘we, not I’ mentality when things get tough.
