Job Description

Responsible for the creation of e-Learning content from concept to delivery. This position will be a member of an in-house creative media group working alongside other designers, media producers and graphic designers. We are looking for a creative and energetic individual who is comfortable thinking outside of the box and bringing unique ideas to the table with strong project management skills. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF THE MEDIA PRODUCER - ABOUT THE ROLE § Work with subject matter experts, internal stakeholders and teams to analyze and document job-specific learning outcomes and desired work behaviors § Apply tested instructional design theories, practice, and methods that meets Client’s design and development standards, stated goals and objectives, and intellectual property policy § Recommend practical and effective solutions and associated instructional strategies that best support the identified performance gaps and requirements § Design, develop and implement e-Learning course materials that increase retention and transfer of both technical and non-technical subject matter § Collaborate with media producers and graphic designers to design engaging media-rich animations and graphics § Write scripts for e-Learning courses that accurately mimic the natural flow of human conversation and coach voice actors during audio recording session § Design reliable and valid criterion-referenced test items that accurately measure and facilitate learner’s knowledge and performance § Implement improvements in existing training curriculum and e-Learning course materials § Work directly with and assist the Learning & Development group to update and maintain existing course materials in the LMS § Leverage project management strategies and software across multiple time zones to build and communicate project plans, descriptions of deliverable, and the coordination of course development resources to ensure the timely release of new and updated course materials § Understand brand and design guideline systems, and you have a passion and expertise for creative online instructional solutions REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS - ABOUT YOU We are looking for candidates who possess a combination of the following achievements, skills, and behaviors: § BS or MS degree in instructional design, educational technology or similar § 3-6 years of professional experience as an Instructional Designer/eLearning Developer § Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills; demonstrate the ability to effectively interface, influence, and consult all levels of employees in a multi-cultural organization § A strong working knowledge and proven experience using Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Photoshop, and Illustrator to design and develop SCORM-compliant e-Learning § A strong working knowledge of implementing, delivering, and analyzing e-Learning using an LMS § 3D modeling/animation experience a plus § Basic video editing and encoding a plus § Basic audio capturing, editing, mixing, and mastering a plus § Excellent team player. Proactive in learning new skills and receptive to feedback § Strong project management, organizational, and interpersonal skills § Portfolio of relevant work is required

Qualifications
