Engineering Technician Location: South Bend, IN. • Ability to read basic electrical/instrumentation drawings and schematics • Some experience in test support and documentation. • Have practical experience working with engineering equipment • Systematic troubleshooting skills and recognition of when outside assistance is required • Organized work habits and the application of 5S principles • Sound technical judgment of high priority and critical items and opinions that needs to be reported to the upper management for decision making. • Good interpersonal skills with ability to work effectively with other individuals in a team or project setting. • Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision, who consistently take the initiative to get things done, do things before being asked by others or forced to by events. • Ability to consistently make timely decisions even in the face of complexity, balancing systematic analysis with decisiveness. We are an aircraft wheel and brake and fuel controls test laboratory looking to train aircraft component test technicians. Qualifications
Be a HS grad (or GED) minimum. Have a mechanical background. You know and have used tools (auto mechanic, backyard mechanic, equipment maintenance, etc.)
