    Job Description

    This position will support manufacturing and maintenance operations for Building 7 commercial cell culture drug substance intermediate manufacturing operations in Thousand Oaks, CA. Under limited supervision, they'll will create and maintain the finite schedule used by manufacturing, maintenance, and support groups during routine plant operations and maintenance shutdowns. This includes constant revision to ensure complete accuracy of all tasks required for production and support groups. Performance monitoring of schedule adherence metrics as well as facilitation of additional lean manufacturing applications. Provide a continuous communication interface between the GMP manufacturing teams in the plant and the supporting partner organizations. Experience level: 2 years of GMP biotech or pharma experience

    Additional Information

    Experience in a planning /scheduling/manufacturing/maintenance craft within a GMP facility. Good verbal and written communication skills. Experience computer skills using Maximo, Windows, Smartsheet, MS Project, MS Excel, or other formalized planning/scheduling tool in a manufacturing setting. Ability to be flexible, manage change, assign sequence of operations, and work cross functionally at client. Ability to interpret electrical schematics, P&ID’s. Experience participating in and leading cross-functional teams. Experience in managing multiple, competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional relationships and communicate effectively across levels. Strong scientific, technical interactions with partner organizations such as engineering, utilities, and maintenance. Basic technical knowledge of Drug process, equipment, and associates utility systems. Background in lean manufacturing methodologies and operational excellence.
