Job Description

Candidate possesses experience debugging PC hardware platforms, building systems and configuring hardware. Experience installing and running - Various PC operating systems including Windows 10, Windows Server 2019, and Linux. Runs predefined software installation and tests in a controlled environment, and records both the system set up and test results accurately. Assists in layout changes in the lab by rewiring configurations and assisting with machine placements. Requirements/Qualifications not limited to the following: -Candidate must have 5+ years of documented experience and/or have certification for micro soldering, board reworks and repairs, Hazardous material handling and setup. Understanding of ISOs such as lab, bench and cabinet’s organization, setup and maintenance including lab layout. -Full expertise of understanding/reading and interpretation of Electronic, Board PCB schematics and layouts in advanced board design such as Form Factor Boards, Development and prototyping boards. -Full expertise in BOM layout, components placements, and design layout. Understanding of utilization of CAD layout tools and easy to work with. -Expertise on setting up Advanced Scopes, Logic analyzer setting, Power Acquisition instrumentation and programming for board setup. -Expertise on Silicon part sorting, handling and screening when needed. Must have full disciplines on Lab security and management, Capable to drive and discipline Development engineers with proper authority and supervision. In/Out logistics logging and reporting and full scale of lab management. -Must have expertise to handle Internal/External Vendor interface, fluent in English, Professional attitudes to have best negotiation with customers and Vendors for pricing, shipment and schedules. -Must be able to lift 25 lbs and move heavier or bulkier equipment with carts and hand trucks. -Candidate must have 5+ years of documented experience and/or have certification for micro-electronic circuit and components (resistors, transistors etc), PCB design

• Candidate must have 5+ years of documented experience and/or have certification for micro-soldering, component repair and hazardous material handling
• Great Communication skills, opened to critics and self-motivated, auto-disciplined
• Minimum 5 year experience as lab technician and hands on work.
• Great negotiator with vendors and customers for handling purchasing, asset transfers and inventories of labs. -Minimum Education: AA/AS Degree in technical field such as Computer Science, Electronics.

Qualifications

Preferred Skills: Candidate must have knowledge how to use SW tools such as web base inventories of company, familiar with SW Office tools such as Excel data generation, Microsoft Project Plan creation and programming to assist development engineers in the lab. Candidate will be the primary person setting up a lab at the work site, they will need to be self-motivated and ready to hit the ground running, high level direction will be given. Preferred Skills: Knowing Matlab and graph generation is a plus. -Multi-language capability is a plus. (Engineers work with customers in Iran) Unix  

Additional Information

The technician must have min 5 years solid background in the lab in one of the following areas, and should be in the job position at least 3 years

• Wireless, cellular system
• Semi-conductor system
• Automation , manufacturing of electronic instruments such as Advanced oscilloscopes Multi-lingual fluency is a plus, particularly in Spanish.
