    DESCRIPTION: POSITION TITLE: SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER, VACCINE SUPPLY CHAIN OPERATIONS FUNCTION: VACCINE OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT: SUPPLY CHAIN AND PLANNING REPORTS TO (POSITION TITLE): DIRECTOR, VACCINE SUPPLY CHAIN OPERATIONS

    NOTES FROM MANAGER: Replacement for someone who was handling standard supply chain, SAP, creation of PO’s, good receipts, managing inventory reconciliations, change requests, corrective actions

    • Supporting colleague in Zurich
    • Hybrid role – duties split between locations in US and abroad (but contractor will be physically located in Cambridge)
    • Located in Cambridge for ease of management, closer to QA functions
    • SAP knowledge required – supply chain transactions
    • High level of collaboration
    • Supporting Dengue vaccine program
    • Oversight of inventory management activity
    • Supplier/vendor management skills
    • Key part of the business that supports finance and quality, tech ops
    • Pharma experience a must
    • Strong GMP/GDP background
    • Biologics experience desired
    • Familiar with TrackWise, EQMS
    • Core hours are 8:00-4:30 but some flexibility needed if there is an early morning meeting due to time zone difference - 7:00 - 3:30 are better hours to keep
    • Ideal candidate: ambitious, well-rounded, stands out, good working knowledge of QA in addition to supply chain

    Introduction: The Supply Chain Manager, Vaccine Supply Chain Operations will be joining the Vaccine Operations function within VBU, with a key role of supporting Dengue commercial related activities from supply chain point of view and support Sr. Manager & Director with current operational and commercial activities.

    Objectives: (Briefly summarise the overall purpose of the position. Objectives should be written in 3 – 4 bulleted statements). • The Supply Chain Manager will support operational commercial supply chain activities, by providing detailed insight of supply and demand issues for vaccine (constrained supply, high cost and of strategic importance). • Support ERP & APO activities for commercial vaccine for Planning, Order management & MM Data management.

    Accountabilities: (Describe the primary duties and responsibilities of the job. Include only the essential functions of the job. Approximately 5 – 10 bulleted task statements should be identified).

    1. Accountable for order management, PO placement and follow-up with CMO for updates in SAP.
    2. Accountable for commercial forecast update in APO.
    3. Support Sr. Manager in coordinating and aligning on Supply Plans for the commercial materials.
    4. Support quality systems, coordinate resolution of deviations related to planning operations.eg. Master Data deviations.
    5. Change control coordinator for all change control & quality event management activities for supply chain.
    6. The Supply Chain Manager will support the Sr. Manager in getting agreement on all independent demand forecast and ensuring the forecast is updated in APO.
    7. Support or perform Inventory reconciliation as per Client's SOX compliance.
    8. Operate under GMP compliance, fulfilling formats and documentation required.

    Education, Behavioural Competencies And Skills: (List the essential and desirable education and competency requirements to perform the primary responsibilities of the job. Any minimum requirements should be noted.) • Expert in SAP, MM modules, APO and Reporting • Vaccine/Biologics/Pharmaceutical experience, demonstrated experience in MM module, APO & planning. • GMP / GDP • Bachelor in Supply Chain Management (experience of 5 years working in Supply Chain functions) • Alternative, bachelor in other career, but with experience of 5-8 years working in Supply chain functions) • Vendor/Supplier Management Experience with operational (control) skills • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment as well as flexibility to work in different time zones & different cultures with fluctuating priorities and deadlines. • High interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. • Energetic, highly motivated, and results-driven with an enquiring mind and passion for excellence and innovation in pursuit of business growth and success.
