POSITION TITLE:    Rockwell PLC/HMI programmer LOCATION:           Creve Coeur, Missouri  DURATION:           Long Term

  DESCRIPTION:   

• Provides Rockwell Software PLC and HMI programming services or technical support typically in a defined project. 
• Develops program logic for new applications or analyzes and modifies logic in existing applications. Codes, tests, debugs, documents, implements and maintains automation software applications. 
• Analyzes requirements, and maintains, tests and integrates application components. Ensures that system improvements are successfully implemented.  Usually requires 5-10 years of previous experience.

ADDITIONAL INFO: 

• OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE: 

• The candidate will have to remote into any of our sites and either deploy or troubleshoot PLC code and HMI screen modification.

• A lot of cool industrial automation work done remotely completely virtual and playing with OEE software.

• Interconnectivity between industrial automation and IoT.

• They would be working helping deploy an OEE solution.

• It will help our sites their production efficiency

• Will work with the manager, regional automation or process engineers depending of the site.

• The position is open due to new work which currently exceeds the bandwidth of the automation team. 

• 70% new development/30% maintenance.

MUST HAVES: 

• Needs to be a skilled Rockwell PLC/HMI programmer, 5 to 10 years experience.

NICE TO HAVES: 

• Project Management skills and good communication skills. 
• Long Term Plan: Continue to provide deployment to all our sites and support. This could be converted to permanent, eventually, based on business needs and performance.

EDUCATION: 

• Bachelors would be nice but is not required, associates with experience is acceptable.
