Overview
We’re seeking an Infrastructure Administrator to support a 60–75 user satellite office while working closely with centralized IT infrastructure and security teams. This role requires a steady, hands-on operator with strong enterprise networking fundamentals—someone who can maintain local network stability while adhering to corporate standards, security controls, and formal change management processes.
Responsibilities
Network & Connectivity Support
Support and maintain local LAN/WLAN infrastructure, including Cisco switches and enterprise wireless access points
Perform switch port configuration, VLAN assignments, and basic routing support
Troubleshoot network connectivity, latency, and performance issues
Coordinate with centralized teams on WAN, firewall, and segmentation changes
Security & Compliance
Support firewall connectivity and security policy implementation in coordination with centralized security teams
Assist with audit preparation and remediation activities (SOX/security controls)
Follow formal change management and documentation standards
Infrastructure & End-User Support
Provide senior-level escalation support for network and infrastructure incidents
Support on-site hardware, VoIP phones, printers, and peripherals
Coordinate ISP issues, circuit troubleshooting, and vendor escalations
Serve as smart hands for centralized infrastructure and security teams
Collaboration & Documentation
Maintain accurate network diagrams and site documentation
Partner with system administrators, security engineers, and vendors
Participate in infrastructure refreshes and site-level improvement initiatives
Qualifications
5+ years in enterprise IT infrastructure or network administration
Strong hands-on experience with:
Cisco switches and routers
Enterprise Wi-Fi (controller-based preferred)
VLANs, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP
Experience supporting multi-site or satellite office environments
Familiarity with firewall concepts (Palo Alto exposure a plus)
Experience in regulated or compliance-driven environments
Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
Exposure to VMware environments
Basic Azure networking awareness
ITIL and/or formal change-management experience preferred
