Infrastructure Platform Engineer

MUST be local to NYC, Hybrid Schedule, at least 3 days onsite

Join an Infrastructure Engineering & Cloud Enablement team to modernize infrastructure provisioning and automation across the enterprise. You’ll build scalable, reusable platforms and tooling that help teams deliver faster and more reliably. This is a hands-on role with opportunities to shape technical direction and grow within a high-impact team.

Responsibilities

• Implement modern tooling, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and self-service automation.
• Develop Terraform modules, Ansible playbooks, and CI/CD pipelines for VMware and OpenShift.
• Support and improve OpenShift/Kubernetes platforms for scalability and reliability.
• Drive Linux OS automation, standardization, and compliance.
• Collaborate with Cloud and Core Infrastructure teams on secure, scalable solutions.
• Contribute to the technical roadmap, tool evaluations, and documentation.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years in infrastructure, DevOps, or platform engineering.
• Strong Terraform and Ansible experience in hybrid environments.
• Linux engineering expertise; CI/CD (Azure DevOps, Git) familiarity.
• Experience with OpenShift/Kubernetes operations and VMware/VCF.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Passion for automation, modernization, and improving developer experience.
