We’re looking for a hands-on and strategic Infrastructure Platform Engineering Lead to head a critical transformation within our Infrastructure Engineering and Cloud Enablement organization. This leader will evolve a legacy automation function into a modern Infrastructure Platform Engineering (IPE) team, focused on building scalable, reusable platforms that support faster, consistent, and secure infrastructure delivery.

    Key Responsibilities:

Build and lead the IPE team with a focus on infrastructure-as-code (Terraform), automation (Ansible), and self-service enablement.

    • Drive platform engineering initiatives across hybrid environments (VMware, OpenShift), including reusable infrastructure pipelines and automation tooling.
    • Own and operate the container platform (OpenShift), ensuring reliability, scalability, and ease of use.
    • Lead Linux OS engineering efforts, with focus on automation, standardization, and compliance.
    • Define and enforce coding, testing, and release standards for automation artifacts.
    • Collaborate with core infrastructure, cloud, and security teams to ensure scalable and secure platform solutions.
    • Mentor engineers, set technical direction, and contribute to the long-term roadmap for infrastructure modernization.

    Required Qualifications:

    • 8+ years in infrastructure/platform engineering, DevOps, or similar roles.
    • Strong management or technical leadership background; must have led or mentored teams.
    • Deep expertise in Terraform, Ansible, OpenShift or Kubernetes, and Linux OS internals.
    • Experience with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Git workflows).
    • Strong architecture skills and ability to deliver scalable, automated solutions.
    • Proven ability to lead across silos and engage stakeholders effectively.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Familiarity with VMware/VCF and integration into automation frameworks.
    • Exposure to internal developer platforms, service catalogs, or infrastructure self-service models.
    • Financial services experience is a plus, but not required.
