    • Maintain firewall policies and secure network configurations

    • Administer Windows and Linux servers• Support virtualization environments

    • Assist in managing identity and access systems (Microsoft Entra ID, MFA, endpoint policies)

    • Maintain backup and recovery procedures

    Growth & Strategic Exposure

    • Participate in infrastructure architecture discussions

    • Contribute to ongoing security posture improvements

    • Assist in future deployment of advanced compute infrastructure as the environment evolves

    • Grow into expanded infrastructure ownership as the organization scales

    Required Qualifications

    • 4+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering or cybersecurity

    • Strong understanding of network security fundamentals

    • Experience managing firewalls, routing, and network segmentation

    • Experience administering Windows and/or Linux servers

    • Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST 800-171, CMMC, ISO 27001, or similar

    • Experience with virtualization technologies

    • Strong documentation discipline and structured problem-solving approach

    • Ability to work independently and collaborate closely with leadership

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience supporting environments preparing for compliance review

    • Exposure to Microsoft Entra ID and endpoint management platforms

    • Demonstrated knowledge of security principles through experience and/or relevant certifications

    (e.g., Security+, CISSP, CCNP Security)

    • Experience in regulated or engineering-focused environments

    • Strengthened security posture and reduced operational risk

    • Clear and maintainable compliance documentation

    • Mature network segmentation and firewall governance• Reliable, auditable infrastructure processes

    • Measurable progress toward CMMC Level 2 readiness

As Ampera continues to grow, this position will help establish a secure and scalable technical

foundation. This hire will build systems and processes that support compliance, operational resilience,
