    Job Description

    Looking for a Local Client Manager who will serve as the primary liaison to a group of identified clients that we represent. Reporting to the Vice President, Client Services, the Local Client Manager is responsible for facilitating the sales execution strategies on behalf of the assigned clients.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:

    • Work out of the Mid-Atlantic Office in Hanover, Maryland.
    • Keep a regular schedule of Monday thru Friday (8:30am to 5:00pm).
    • Throughout the year, the position may require the ability to travel and some overnights may be required.
    • Experience managing the client relationship at a local level.
    • Responsible for orchestrating market-specific selling strategies that enable local Account Executives and Key Account Specialist to achieve client objectives.
    • Directs the activities to the assigned sales persons and/or teams working closely with Sales Management to manage projects, time frames and success.
    • Individual should exemplify outstanding time management skills, clear communication skills and be Self-motivated and driven to succeed.
    • Computer literacy is a must as we rely on several digital tools to help you execute your work and keep you accountable.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (required), CRM systems, along with the ability to effectively use virtual presentation tools such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and other cloud-based solutions.

    This position requires a progressive, but deliberate leadership approach that requires effective organization, strong business acumen, and is a diverse communicator with the ability to connect with diverse audiences. The selected talent should possess a progressive and consultative selling approach, with a proven ability to influence without authority and be an effective communicator at all levels.

    EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:

    • 2-5 years of experience, preferably in a leadership role for a foodservice agency, is required.
    • A Bachelor’s degree is a bonus as well a relevant industry related professional experience.
