    We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Infusion RN to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering intravenous medications, blood products, and other therapeutic infusions to patients in accordance with physician orders and established protocols. This role requires expertise in venous access, patient assessment, and comprehensive infusion therapy management.

    Schedule: Monday – Friday, 10:00 am – 6:30 pm. Open to full-time or part-time candidates.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Assess and monitor therapy of patients using appropriate technical skills under the direction and supervision of a physician.

    Exhibit passion for and experience in Oncology patient care

    Manage patients with oncologic and hematologic diagnoses

    Duties will include administration of IV, and oral medications, vascular access device maintenance and monitoring, chemotherapy/immunotherapy administration, blood administration, therapeutic phlebotomy, assessment of patient symptoms and the management of side effects, and over all collaboration on patient treatment plans

    Mixing and administration of chemotherapy drugs

    Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and families throughout treatment

    Triages patient/family phone calls as needed and documents relevant information in the patient's chart.

    Assesses patient/family needs and provides teaching.

    Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications & Requirements:

    Graduate from an accredited program for professional nursing education; BSN preferred.

    Current RN NY state license.

    2+ years of clinical experience in an outpatient oncology setting preferred.

    2+ years of peripheral IV experience.

    Chemotherapy/biotherapy or OCN Certification required or must be obtained within 3 months of hire.

    Strong communication, organizational and customer service skills.

    Bilingual Hindi or Spanish highly preferred.

    Physical Demands & Work Environment:

    Physical Activity: Requires frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and lifting.

    Lifting: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with or without assistance.

    Manual Dexterity: Requires fine motor skills for tasks such as administering medications, taking vital signs, and performing wound care.

    Sensory Requirements: Ability to see, hear, and touch to perform job duties effectively.

    Exposure to Hazards: Potential exposure to infectious diseases, biohazardous materials, and chemical agents.

    Noise Level: Moderate noise level, often due to patient monitoring equipment and staff interactions.
