The infusion specialist must be a Registered Nurse and is responsible for administering IV Hydration and vitamin therapy to patients. The specialist also assists with the individual customization of health and wellness plans for patients to address underlying issues and achieve optimal wellness.

Job Duties

Assess and evaluate patient conditions/concerns and implement appropriate services based on patient’s needs.

Ability to skillfully administer IV drips and fluids.

Monitor and record patient’s vital signs during infusions and report any changes or abnormalities accordingly.

Collaborate with other nurses and healthcare professionals to provide world-class patient care.

Maintain accurate and complete patient records and ensure confidentiality of patient information.

Provide education to patients and family on IV therapy and preventative care.

Develop patient plan for wellness on an ongoing basis.

Adhere to all nursing policies, procedures and standards of care.

Proven critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Perform additional job duties as assigned.
