    Job Description

    • The Boiler Operator is responsible for general boiler operations and general assistancethroughout the maintenance department and sanitation.

    • Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

    • Salary: $29.61 per hour.

    • Hours Per Week: 40 +

    • Over Time: As needed

    • Workweek: To be determined. However, it could be Sun-Sat, variable schedule. They will workdays and nights. The boiler shifts are highly variable. The current boiler operators are working 7-12 hour shifts and have been averaging 50-55 hours/wk.

    • Payment Days: Biweekly / Thursday

    • Start Dates: ASAP

    GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
    • Must be able to demonstrate an ability and willingness to communicate effectively in order to maintain high levels of Safety, Quality and Efficiency.

    • Demonstrate an understanding of the products manufactured and the processes

    EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Experience working with boilers. Ideally, we would like them to have at least 6000 hours of boiler experience but need them have at least 2000 hours. MN has very complex licensing for boiler operators – which we realize we’ll need to assist them with getting. We need them to have a 1B to operate the boilers unsupervised, which requires 6000 hours. Experience with Ammonia Refrigeration required.

    IS HE REQUIRED TO SUPERVISE OTHER WORKERS? No

    CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECK? Yes, must be able to pass a criminal background check
    before departure from place of recruitment.
    A) Employer will perform a CBC if the candidate is/has been in the US; and
    B) Applicant must also provide a Carta de no Antecedentes Penales from the Mexican government, requested by the recruitment company if in Mexico..

    DRUG TEST? Yes, must pass a Panel 5 drug test before departure from place of recruitment.
