Job Description
The Boiler Operator is responsible for general boiler operations and general assistancethroughout the maintenance department and sanitation.
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
Salary: $29.61 per hour.
Hours Per Week: 40 +
Over Time: As needed
Workweek: To be determined. However, it could be Sun-Sat, variable schedule. They will workdays and nights. The boiler shifts are highly variable. The current boiler operators are working 7-12 hour shifts and have been averaging 50-55 hours/wk.
Payment Days: Biweekly / Thursday
Start Dates: ASAP
Qualifications
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Experience working with boilers. Ideally, we would like them to have at least 6000 hours of boiler experience but need them have at least 2000 hours. MN has very complex licensing for boiler operators – which we realize we’ll need to assist them with getting. We need them to have a 1B to operate the boilers unsupervised, which requires 6000 hours. Experience with Ammonia Refrigeration required.
