    Job Description

    PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: • Closeout of firm-fixed, cost-reimbursement, time and material, labor hour, or any variant to include hybrid contracts in accordance with company established procedures. • Monitor procurement status information and payment detail to identify procurements that can be closed.

    • May assist in special projects assigned by the Subcontractor Procurement Manager(s).

    • Maintains and administers a viable purchasing card program
    • Responsible for the orderly performance and completion of all types of project procurement commitments through the entire acquisition process in accordance with established procurement procedures.
    • Communicates with suppliers, subcontractors, and Company personnel to establish a clear definition of requirements and to assure performance
    • to subcontract agreement terms.
    • Develops qualified source lists and participates in pre-qualification efforts with other project and functional groups.
      • Develops and prepares project/functional subcontracts, blanket agreements, and purchase order forms including legal and commercial terms and conditions to be included in subcontract and purchase documents.
      • Reviews prime contract terminology and transfers applicable legal and commercial terms into the subcontracts blanket agreements and purchase order forms.
      • Reviews and develops other commercial and technical data prepared by Engineering, Construction, CFO, Legal, and other functional groups and inputs suitable terminology into purchases and subcontracts forms.
    • * Administers assigned purchase orders and/or other subcontract forms, performing the following functions:
      • Prepares, as necessary, a summary on each assigned order/subcontract, establishing vital information essential to a well-defined administration program.
      • Establishes files and controls for all-out*going and incoming correspondence on each assigned order/subcontract.
      • Monitors suppliers' performance for conformance to commercial terms.
        • Assist Engineering and other functions to ensure compliance with the order/subcontract terms.
      • Initiates follow-up actions with the supplier or functional groups to ensure performance in accordance with subcontract/order terms.
      • Reviews acts on, and/or recommends specific actions involving subcontract terminations, claims, and disputes.
        • Conducts closeout

    Qualifications

    REQUIREMENTS: • Knowledge of business administration procedures, techniques, and business ethics. • Skilled in oral and written communication. • Basic knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations, and applicable Agency Supplements. • Basic understanding of Governmental Contracts and the flow-down of applicable clauses and requirements. • Basic understanding of Cost Accounting Standards, and determination process for applicability to the work • When assigned to a job site location, actual experience in document handling operations • Possesses strong computer skills relating to data analysis and document preparation

    EDUCATION: • Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or demonstrated equivalent combination of education, training, and related experience

    EXPERIENCE: • 2+ years of related experience required
