Job Description

Our client, a high volume, fast-paced financial services organization centrally located in San Diego is seeking their .NET Developer to report to the Development Manager.  This is a great opportunity for a .NET Developer who has experience with design, development, maintenance, integration and support of .Net applications and the SharePoint intranet. This includes maintenance of existing .Net applications as well as developing new applications that interface with a broad variety of other systems, including the core system. Maintains quality service standards set by the organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Designs, creates, documents, develops, tests and implements applications utilizing SharePoint, Visual Studio, C#, MS SQL and the .NET framework.

• Maintains SharePoint intranet and other custom applications.

• Works with senior developers to review architecture, design and code.

• Participates in Agile/Scrum team.

• Troubleshoots complex issues, including integrations with the core systems as well as other integrations.

• Adheres to application development standard guidelines.

• Performs Quality Assurance testing in accordance with department policies and guidelines.

• Develops documentation for supported applications.

• Manages/monitors applications to ensure fast and efficient response times.

• Ensures that the intranet meets all regulatory and compliance requirements.

• Stays up to date on new technologies and trends pertaining to developmental improvements to the intranet and internet sites.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent job experience.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience to include:
• 3 years web development experience.
• ASP.Net, 4.0 preferable, C# and T-SQL.
• Visual Studio up to Visual Studio 2017.
• Microsoft SQL 2016.
• SharePoint 2016 development and administration.
• SharePoint templates (site templates, list templates, master page customization) is highly desired.
• Git Source Control and/or Azure DevOps Scrum Software desired.
• Working knowledge of SharePoint designer and workflows.
• Sufficient organizational skills to plan and prioritize concurrent projects and meet established deadlines.
• College level analytical and problem solving ability; attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Effective interaction, verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiar with ITIL concepts including Change Control. Able to work in a controlled environment with multiple instances of applications: Development, Test and Production.
