WE ARE SEEKING A CREATIVE, DRIVEN AND HIGHLY MOTIVATED IT TECHNICIAN INTERN TO JOIN OUR TEAM!

The chosen candidate will assist in the setup, maintenance and support of both network and end user hardware/software resources.

This IT Internship position exists to provide a paid opportunity to learn about the dynamics and functions of the IT organization. This position will participate in various projects that will benefit the intern's education and experience. The candidate will have an opportunity to use his/her knowledge to assist in the following functions:​

• Support end user software and hardware issues.
• Build PCs and install software.
• Maintain servers and perform backups.
• Maintain network security and system updates.
• Perform server and system updates.
• Maintain software licenses.
• Assist with other tasks as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Knowledgeable about both network servers and client PCs – setup and support.
• Familiar with Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Basic knowledge of various hardware components, such as switches, routers, network cabling, printers, tablets, phones, etc.
• Capable of troubleshooting computer related problems and requests.
• Capable of working efficiently in accordance with routine daily schedules.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• One of the following is required:
  • Pursuing Associates Degree in Computer Science or a similar field.
  • Two or more years of experience in a similar field.
