    INGRAM CONTENT GROUP (ICG) is hiring for a CONSUMER MARKETING SALES MANAGER to join our team either based in LAVERGNE, TN (Greater Nashville Area) or in NYC area. We’re looking for an individual to join Ingram Content Group’s new Consumer Marketing division to sell marketing services to existing and prospective book publishing clients. As part of an entrepreneurial team within Ingram, the Sales Manager will develop selling and growth relationships with data-driven marketing and sales leaders within publishing organizations.

    This role is in a new business area so the Sales Manager will not only ensure that sales opportunities are brought to fruition but will also help build foundational elements of the sales program such as establishing sales operations activities and collaborating with Ingram’s other publisher- and author-facing lines of business to assess customer needs and find solutions.

    Most importantly, the Sales Manager will work with stakeholders to meet new sales, retention and renewal goals across the Consumer Marketing set of services.

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor’s degree or directly related year for year experience
    • 5 years’ experience in sales, business development, digital marketing, or product marketing

    PREFERRED SKILLS:

    • Experience with digital marketing
    • Experience with the book industry

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Develops, grows, and engages the pipeline of Marketing Services clients, identifying new opportunities, fielding new lead enquiries, and growing sales of assigned accounts through an understanding of the offerings within the Consumer Marketing suite of products and services from the point of view of the potential customer.
    • Partners with other ICG sales teams and client managers to assess marketing needs for all publisher accounts as needed.
    • Serves as a key point of contact across client types to ensure consistency of sales operations processes, including sales, onboarding, and billing.
    • Serves as the main point of contact to assigned publisher accounts and segments for the Marketing Services suite of products and services, including the contracting process, new client kickoff sessions, renewals, upgrades, cancellations, and business reviews.
    • Monitors KPIs such as usage, spend, and repurchase to meet or exceed budget goals.
    • Works with Customer Service to continually update FAQs and support documentation with the needs of current clients
    • Reports and presents on sales, revenue, pipeline and effectiveness of services for stakeholders.
    • Actively seeks new accounts for each of Ingram Content Group’s Consumer Marketing products
