    Job Description

     

    INGRAM CONTENT GROUP (ICG) is hiring for a MARKETING SPECIALIST to contribute to our team in LAVERGNE, TN just outside Nashville.  As the Marketing Specialist, you will identify and lead projects, from conception through execution, for select marketing programs to support the growth and expansion of company products and services. You will work independently to identify new opportunities, measure results, make recommendations on improvements to processes and marketing campaigns, and work with the Marketing Manager and business leads to prioritize outcomes. You’ll also assist the Marketing and Design teams in creating content, collateral, reports, and the execution and tracking of additional tasks to ensure accurate and timely implementation.

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor’s Degree
    • Minimum of 3 years related marketing experience to include 1 year of digital marketing

    PREFERRED SKILLS:

    • Experience with SEO (Search Engine Optimization)
    • Experience with HubSpot
    • Strong written communication skills
    • Copywriting skills
    • Ability to provide writing samples

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Develops and executes marketing campaigns that support company/product growth strategies.
    • Independently tracks, reports and provides optimization efforts on marketing initiatives to manager and business units.
    • Contributes to and supports the development and implementation of business objectives and marketing plans as outlined in annual integrated marketing plans.
    • Designs/produces emails and visual blog content that align with marketing message and branding
    • Provides regular updates on status of marketing projects and initiatives.
    • Provides support and assistance to the Marketing Manager with the tactical execution of corporate and brand marketing plans, strategies, and programs.
    • Writes content marketing pieces, including monthly newsletter, emails, blog posts, social media posts, advertising, and promotional collateral to drive target market to desired results.
    • Executes digital marketing strategies associated with workflow automation, search engine optimization, and lead generation.
    • Optimizes and coordinates digital assets, including IngramSpark podcast, blog, and website content.
    • Works daily in HubSpot to execute marketing initiatives, monitor campaigns, identify business opportunities, provide reporting, and evaluate relevant data.
    • Works to better understand customer objectives, identify process improvements, and create educational resources (i.e. videos, workflows, guides, online course material) to better enable customer success.
    • Oversees project timing and budgets, on select projects, working with Marketing Manager on approvals.
    • Assists marketing team with brainstorming, identifies and proposes new and better ways of connecting with audiences, and meeting tactical goals.
    • Work with graphic design department to design, layout, and format materials to communicate marketing objectives.
    • Works with team to develop content for marketing materials to drive target market to desired results.
    • Responsible for proofing of marketing materials for content and grammatical accuracy.
    • Maintain ongoing day-to-day, weekly and monthly marketing operations including webinars, presentations, newsletters, blogging, website updates, form submissions, customer concerns, various budgets, etc.
    • Performs other tasks to support the marketing team.
