    Schedules Available:

    Several schedules available on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts depending on position. Manufacturing Associates work 12 hr shifts, Distribution Associates work 8-10 hr shifts. Will further discuss schedules in interview.

    What You'll Need:

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • 6 months continuous work experience required

    What You’ll Do as a Manufacturing Associate:

    • Operate all production equipment including but not limited to B/W printers, binders and cutters to achieve shift production volume and meet safety and quality standards as described in the LSI operating manual.
    • Execute timely re-supply of raw materials while operating production equipment.
    • Notify lead operator and/or specialist when equipment is not operating effectively.

    What You'll Do as a Distribution Associate:

    • Check shipment quantity against bill of lading and inspects condition of cartons and skids, signs as received or completes discrepancies, overage, shortage, damaged paperwork as necessary
    • Work shipment based on receipt by, separating cartons by title, placing cartons on conveyor, counting and inspecting books, and completing breakdown tickets
    • Unload cartons from conveyor line and sort them onto pallets based on warehouse zones
    • Remove product from boxes, verifies title and location, and places on shelves in an orderly manner
    • Obtain picking list or task group assignments from leadership, input order into production system, and get cart
    • Pull/verify correct number of each item from shelves based on the task assignment using paper, Radio Frequency (RF) or voice- activated processes and place books on cart
    • Check for damages and verify data on customer order including entry number and number of books while packing order
    • Determine the proper packing method for various size orders to arrange books in the most compact manner onto corrugated cardboard boxes, t-boards, or flats according to allowable weights for method of shipping
