    Job Description

    INGRAM CONTENT GROUP (ICG) is hiring for a CLIENT RELATIONS COORDINATOR to contribute to our INTERNATIONAL SALES team in our NYC office.  In this role, you will work with the VP, International Sales, Senior Manager, Client Relations, and International Marketing Coordinator to support sales and marketing objectives for IPS International. You will also liaise with publishers across all the Ingram Publisher Services (IPS) distribution brands and assist the team with ad hoc reporting, projects and marketing campaigns.

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • 2-year college degree or equivalent
    • 2 years’ experience in publishing, media, client relations, administration, or related work in the book industry, that can include part-time work, internships, or project work.

    PREFERRED SKILLS:

    • Intermediate level experience with MS Excel, including pivot tables and V lookups
    • Book industry experience

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Supports VP, International Sales and Senior Manager, Client Relations on all aspects of client management, including regular publisher communication, sales reporting, and following up on leads with sales managers.
    • Schedules and organizes meetings with internal staff and publisher clients, including pre-sales and sales conference breakout meetings.
    • Gathers reports and presentations for publisher business reviews, and other presentations as needed.
    • Collates information to generate proposals for special projects, such as export edition titles or local printings.
    • Participates in meetings and takes notes; acts on action items identified during meetings.
    • Works with client managers to ensure title metadata meet all international requirements.
    • Liaises closely with various internal players to communicate onboarding and offboarding of client publishers.
    • Creates and maintains a library of resource materials, such as updating a roster of active client publishers and prospective clients.
    • Collaborates with the International Marketing Coordinator on the implementation of a global marketing strategy that supports business objectives.
    • Helps with the creation of seasonal sales and marketing materials.
    • Contributes toward the IPS International social media pages to cultivate a regular presence online.
    • Assists with the tracking of marketing spend for the international sales department; updating coop tracking system regularly.
    • Acts as expert on internal systems, including rep training and troubleshooting issues.
