    Job Description

    Ingram Content Group (ICG) is hiring for a Key Account Sales Manager to contribute to our Lightning Source (LSI) team in LaVergne, TN just outside Nashville.  In this role, you will sell print services to existing and prospective book publishing clients in the content business.  You will evaluate sales and account reporting to identify opportunities and analyze trends in your portfolio and our wider print and digital business. You’ll develop selling and service relationships throughout all levels of the Publisher’s organization. You will be tasked with effectively working with internal and external stakeholders to develop and meet sales and growth targets.  You will seek out and become comfortable with virtual conference speaking, presentations and other networking and selling activities.  The ideal candidate will live in the Greater Nashville area and have experience working in the K-12 Education market.

    Required Qualifications: •    Bachelor’s degree •    5 years’ experience in book publishing or printing

    Preferred Skills: •    Experience in the K-12 Education market •    Experience using reporting software, including Salesforce, Qlik, and QuickBase 

    Key Responsibilities: •    Develops and grows the pipeline of new business, using data and analytics as well as insights from the client to identify and close opportunities. Maintains pipeline in Salesforce, and responds to requests for proposal (RFPs) in a timely and winning fashion. •    Understands solution requirements of current and prospective clients, and recommends Ingram print-on-demand, distribution and other publisher services as appropriate. •    Understands the market and competition, in order to articulate the value proposition of Ingram to current and prospective clients. •    Develops solution-based proposals that address the needs of the publishers through Ingram’s current print offerings or other creative solutions. Delivers engaging and accurate proposals to the client. Conducts data-driven business reviews with major accounts.  •    Collaborates with clients and internal colleagues to recommend new services or process improvements to better serve our clients.  •    Meets or exceeds sales targets.
