    Job Description

    Ingram Content Group (ICG) **** is hiring an Inside Sales Representative to contribute to our team in LaVergne, TN, just outside Nashville.

    In this role, you will develop and maintain relationships with Ingram Library Services (ILS) customers responding to product information requests. You will promote ILS programs and services. You’ll also develop new accounts while maintaining and growing sales for existing accounts in assigned territories with the field representative for the territory. As the Inside Sales Representative, you will ensure Ingram is listed on all BID lists in assigned territories. In addition, you’ll work with customers regarding quoted products and services and unspent funds as assigned.

    Required Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or GED
    • 2 years’ sales or telemarketing experience or 4 years of library experience

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Acts as client support for the top 50% of ILS customers sales with the Field representatives to build relationships and find opportunities to upsell as needed in the process.
    • Develops and maintains business relationships with current and prospective customers, informing them of the benefits of using Ingram products and services.
    • Responds to customer needs and concerns as well as develops, maintains, and grows ILS customers via telephone, video conference, and email.
    • Works with internal departments and business units to effectively manage and support assigned accounts.
    • Coordinates with assigned Sr. Sales Representative in inviting and soliciting customer participation in trade show programs, booth activities, and internal Ingram events.
    • Follows-up with leads generated from trade shows, webinars, and Ingram events.
    • Manages the database of leads in Salesforce.com; efficiently processing all opportunities, tracking, and reporting.
    • Provides merchandising assistance and systems maintenance to maintain proper communications, ordering, and shipping delivery to customers.
    • Communicates and partners with other internal departments as needed to ensure customer satisfaction and sales.
    • Educates and trains customers on new and updated sales tools.
    • Identifies and assists with creation and implementation of campaigns to highlight Ingram services and maximize territory sales.
    • Partners with marketing department on various projects to assist in sharing products and services knowledge with customers
