    In this role, you’re driving the operations of the business, often working as part of a team. You know the industry inside and out and are always enthusiastic about finding new opportunities to impact the future of our business. The successful candidate for this position will be able to assess client needs, provide solutions, and effectively execute the business.

    What you will be doing:

    • Developing and managing all international operational process and maintain excellent relationships with existing customers and service providers
    • Building strategic relationships with key contacts within our customer’s and service provider’s organizations to create opportunities
    • Capitalizing on value creation opportunities by working closely with the sales team to develop creative workable solutions to meet our customers’ needs
    • Handling Freight and Transport inquiries for Bulk, Breakbulk and Containerized shipments
    • Facilitating regular meetings with clients and relevant operations staff to evaluate performance, obtaining updates from clients on challenges and future plans
    • Attending and networking within industry groups, trade shows and other similar events in an effective manner
    • Completing assigned administrative functions in a timely manner, including maintaining data with ILS TMS, CRM and data management tools
    • Prioritizing workloads for self and staff to meet KPI’s
    • Maintaining current relationships and grow our network of vendors
    • Ensuring strict compliance to Company policies and TSA, FMC, and other regulators rules and regulations.
    • Driving expectations of data integrity, routing, revenue/cost, on-time pick up / delivery and shipment status through system reports, dashboards and business intelligence reports.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    • Minimum of 7-10 years’ work experience in Freight Forwarding and/or international Logistics
    • Experience executing Freight Forwarding/NVOCC services (international air, ocean, imports, exports, Customs clearance, and Drayage, etc.)
    • Proven ability to create and maintain new processes, systems, and programs
    • Demonstrated ability to develop relationships with key service providers
    • Strong organizational & time management skills
    • Strong experience managing activity for all phases of Import/Export, International Air, and Freight Forwarding
    • Mastery of all import and export documentation, process and procedures
    • Proven experience with leading and developing teams
    • Strong account management, and account development experience
    • Determined problem solver with the experience to understand, address and resolve issues that arise in day-to-day operations.
    • Experience working with teams to set objectives, goals and perform one on one reviews.
    • General Understanding of international transportation compliance.
    • Proven ability to communicate effectively with clients and vendors
    • Strong organizational & time management skills
    • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and work in a fast pace environment
    • Demonstrated ability to quickly develop creative solutions for customers
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Suite
    • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
