    Ingredients Sales Manager - Chicago 

    The Ingredients Sales Manager plays a key role in building and sustaining strong relationships with existing clients while actively developing new business opportunities. This position partners closely with customers from initial engagement through closing, offering guidance, expertise, and ongoing support. Staying current on industry developments and market trends is essential to maintaining credibility and leadership within the Health and Nutrition sector.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Drive sales through the promotion and marketing of raw material ingredients.
    • Support the development and execution of strategic sales plans.
    • Prepare, document, and manage pricing quotes, contracts, and sales agreements.
    • Track and report sales activity and performance metrics to the Sales Manager.
    • Execute assigned responsibilities in accordance with company policies, procedures, and work instructions.
    • Adhere to all established quality system standards.
    • Identify, document, and communicate issues related to products, processes, or quality systems.
    • Recommend or implement corrective actions through approved internal channels.
    • Participate in special projects and perform additional duties as assigned by management.

    Qualifications & Skills:

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a discipline relevant to the company’s industry focus.
    • 4-8 years of B2B sales experience, preferably within a related field.
    • Highly self-driven with strong organizational and follow-through skills.
    • Professional, responsive, and customer-focused demeanor.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
    • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as required for sales activities.
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and contact management/CRM software.
    • Ability to consistently represent company values and policies in all internal and external interactions.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage confidential and sensitive information with discretion.

    Compensation: $115,000-130,000 plus commission, and full benefits!
