    DESCRIPTION: InHance Interiors is a premier design build firm specializing in remodels, additions, new construction, and home furnishing. With a high volume of single-family projects, we seek an experienced Interior Architect to collaborate with designers, clients, and construction teams and to oversee all technical aspects from plan development to execution. The perfect candidate is passionate about home design and construction, has strong interpersonal and communication skills, knows the city and the industry well, and is confident as both a project manager and collaborator.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    Bachelor of Interior Architecture degree or Interior Design degree required.

    Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, REVIT, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and Illustrator), SketchUp, and Microsoft Office suite.

    5+ years’ experience in a similar role working in all phases from concept to completion.

    NCIDQ or ARE licensure is required.

    Strong competency with City codes and regulations within LA county.

    Thrives in a fast-paced environment managing multiple projects at once.

    Can effectively communicate with engineers, architects, surveyors, city planners, general contractors, site supervisors, specialty trades, vendors, and rendering artists, etc..

    Organized, detail oriented, self-motivated, resourceful, and able to meet multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

    Knowledgeable about high-end home design detailing and trends.

    Proven track record to meet deadlines and juggle a high volume of projects.

    Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    A team player who can provide technical guidance to design and construction team members.

    Takes direction and criticism well and also shares thoughts and feedback with others.

    Inspired creative with an eagerness to contribute fresh and elevated ideas

    RESPONSIBILTIES

    The IA is an important intermediary who we depend on for technical cohesion and alignment between design and construction teams, ensuring ideas can and will be implemented in the field.

    Responsible for drafting and/or reviewing all measurements, plan sets, RCPs, schedules, shop drawings, product specifications, codes, etc.

    Supports purchasing director and lead designer with material budgets and procurement.

    Provides peer feedback and support for design packages and client presentations.

    Collaborate on designs, material selections, products, finishes, vendors, room layouts, etc.

    Translates design concepts and ideas into AutoCAD specifically, interior details, schedules, elevations, plans, sections, RCPs, lighting plans, etc.

    Takes ownership of relationships between architects, engineers, general contractors, and other professionals in the field.

    Exhibits strong time management to effectively organize priorities and schedule deliverables on various projects.

    Team player who will support/mentor the design team in understanding the technical aspects of the project so we can provide the absolute best service and information to our clients.

    Contribute creatively to both design projects and the innovation of our internal processes.

    The ability to produce 3D renderings or photoshop renderings is a plus.

    Maintain organized folders of project documentation.

    Provide an extraordinary client experience from A-Z.

    COMPENSATION

    TBD based on experience. Option to join as contract or salaried position.

    LOCATION & HOURS

    Operating hours are 9am – 6pm. Occasional time will be expected outside of normal hours. This job is based in the Fairfax/Beverly Grove district of Los Angeles. Our projects are spread out around LA. It is recommended that you live within a close radius to our offices.

    We maintain a collaborative in-person work environment but offer a flexible work from home policy as-needed.
