    HOURS: Full Time, 5 Days/Week (40+ Hours)

    DESCRIPTION: InHance Interiors is seeking to further build our talented team as we continue to grow with many projects underway! We are looking for a friendly and fun, experienced SENIOR DESIGNER. The right candidate should have an established portfolio of work, preferably from a residential design firm. He/She is design-savvy, incredibly organized, detail-oriented, client-focused, and a self-starter with a strong design aesthetic which aligns seamlessly with ours. You will be expected to manage multiple projects independently while assisting others on the design team with meeting their deliverables and attaining II standards. A design expert with thorough industry knowledge, and an elevated eye for functional, creative, and bold designs. This is a unique opportunity to design, develop and oversee new construction, remodel and interiors projects at a growing firm. This role will report to the Principal Designer, while overseeing multiple projects, from concept through installation.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    Must have Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design and minimum 1-year experience at a residential design firm in a similar role.

    Must be proficient in Auto CAD, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel. Ivy, Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator are a plus.

    Must be able to develop floor plans, create interior elevations, and implement space planning skills in CAD and in the field as it relates to furniture and design.

    Understanding of the construction process from start to finish for high-end residential new builds and remodels. Can easily interpret construction documents for clients and other trades.

    Knowledge of key vendors, high/low brands, and retailers in the luxury interior design space. Quickly source and specify all plumbing, tile, flooring, molding, appliances, etc. to meet within client’s budget and aesthetic.

    Have great communication skills and communicate daily to problem-solve and oversee all aspects of each project alongside clients, architects, contractors and subs

    Has a curated style that matches with the InHance brand.

    Strong organization skills, exceptional follow-thru and proven ability to meet deadlines and stay on budget.

    Has an eye that can catch every detail, even while multi-tasking.

    Must be self-motivated. Some days are more hectic than others, so we need a team player with a cheerful outlook and willingness to bounce from project to project easily, and execute the constantly shifting tasks on each and every project, while keeping the Principal Designer and II design team aware of overall project timelines, updates to scheduling, deliverables, etc.

    A true team player who can collaborate, take direction, and lead when called upon.

    Must have your own car, and cell phone.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Show strong knowledge of each Project from A-Z. You will be developing, leading and managing multiple projects at a time on your own, while collaborating on the II design team and Principal Designer, Bre Hance.

    Develop conceptual designs as well as finished II Design Packages. Keep up-to-date detailed records of lighting, tile, paint and general finish schedules, etc. for field use and accurate notes for all trades involved.

    Review and Oversee Construction Documents, Demo Plans, Floor Plans, RCP, Door & Window Schedules, Interior and Exterior Renderings, Millwork Plans, etc.

    Research & source furniture, fabrics, lighting, tile, surfaces, finishes, materials, color palettes, hardware, wallpaper, accessories, window coverings, artwork, etc. that align perfectly with the InHance aesthetic.

    Obtain samples for the II library and build and maintain relationships with trade representatives and showrooms.

    Create eye-catching presentations for clients which including material samples and vibrant images.

    Oversee project installations, manage staging direction, and be comfortable styling photoshoots

    HOURS & COMPENSATION

    This is a position with a full-time commitment. Compensation is based on experience and will either be independent contractor or salaried. Occasional time will be expected outside of normal operating hours.

    LOCATION

    This job is based in the Fairfax/Beverly Grove district of Los Angeles. Our projects are spread out around LA. It is recommended that you live within a close radius to our offices.
