Job Description
Inizio Interventions provides behavior intervention services to children with autism and other developmental disabilities and their families. The Human Resources Manager will lead and direct the routine functions of the Human Resources (HR) department including hiring and interviewing staff, benefits and leave programs and enforcing company policies, practices, and procedures. We are looking for a full-time Human Resources Manager with the following qualifications:
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Interviews, hires, and trains new staff in the department.
- Oversees the daily workflow of the department.
- Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
- Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
- Guides employees and managers on HR related issues as required.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plans, directs, and implements policies and procedures for all areas of the human resources function including staffing, compensation, leave administration, benefits, training, employee relations, safety and compliance.
- Provides support and guidance to HR staff, management, and other employees when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise.
- Manages the talent acquisition process, which may include recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants, particularly for managerial, exempt, and professional roles; collaborates with the leadership team to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
- Collaborates with Recruiter in planning and executing community outreach activities to support the agency’s growth.
- Oversees maintenance of client medical records and ensures HIPAA compliance
- Analyzes trends in compensation and benefits; researches and proposes competitive base and incentive pay programs to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent.
- Creates learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees.
- Oversees employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations. Consults with and provides guidance to managers and senior management related to recruitment, promotions, disciplinary actions, terminations and employee relations issues.
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance. Makes changes to the employee manual as required.
- Maintains current, in-depth knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS and talent management systems.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
- A minimum of five years of human resource management experience or 8-10 years of HR Generalist experience preferred.
- Healthcare industry experience preferred.
- SHRM-CP/SCP or SPHR/PHR Certification highly preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
- Must be able to travel between offices when required.
Compensation dependent upon experience.
