Responsibilities: • Prepare detailed, persuasive demand letters that clearly present each client’s claims, injuries, and damages. • Review medical record summaries and integrate key facts and findings into a cohesive demand narrative. • Create polished, accurate demand packages using Microsoft Word and firm-approved templates. • Research and evaluate case materials to support demands with strong factual documentation and relevant legal considerations. • Partner with paralegals and attorneys to ensure demands are thorough, accurate, and aligned with the overall case strategy. • Update and refine drafts based on feedback from the Demand Department Manager and assigned attorneys. • Communicate with clients as needed to obtain missing information or clarify case details. • Proofread and edit materials for clarity, consistency, grammar, and compliance with legal standards. • Manage multiple matters at once, meeting deadlines while maintaining consistently high-quality work. • Ensure demand letters and supporting documents are finalized and submitted on time. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Legal Studies, or a related field (preferred). • Minimum of 3 years of full-time work experience in a professional setting; prior legal or writing experience is a plus. • Strong reading comprehension and advanced writing skills, with the ability to draft clear, persuasive, and well-organized documents. • Proficiency in Microsoft Word , including formatting, editing, and working with templates. • Comfortable typing for extended periods and producing high-volume written work when needed. • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple cases simultaneously. • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with paralegals, attorneys, and department managers. • High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and reliability. Compensation: $22 - $25 hourly
