Your Responsibilities:
- Assess clients’ needs and develop strategies to help.
- Evaluate programs and services for quality.
- Provide support and resources for clients.
- Provide support and resources for clients.
- Respond to crisis situations that affect children and vulnerable or mentally unstable adults.
- Listen and provide counseling and/or psychotherapy sessions to children and adults.
- Create programs and services to benefit clients and community.
- Influence community and policymakers to develop programs, policies, and services to assist in social work.
- Advocate and raise awareness on behalf of clients and the needs of the community.
You Must have :
- Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, sociology, healthcare, or medical and related fields.
- Licensed by state board according to regulatory procedures.
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
- Ability to work nights and weekends
- Ability to travel to meet with clients
- Motivation to take on additional community involvement projects and solve problems
- Comfort in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple cases
- Self-directed and able to work without supervision
Job specific experience:
- Education: Master’s degree in social work (MSW) preferred
: Supervised practicum or internship preferred
