RN Trauma Intensive Care Unit

This role will be located at the newly constructed High Acuity wing in the Emergency Center. There are two brand new trauma bays designed to support current trauma care equipment and procedures that include four high acuity beds to support patients receiving trauma care. Also includes, 20 OR suites with a hybrid suite designed to support current trauma care equipment and procedures, 8 bed Trauma ICU, 14 bed neuro ICU to support patients who have experienced a Traumatic Brain Injury and a 32 bed ICU to support patients receiving trauma care.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Implements and monitors patient care plans. Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.
Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.

Required:
Two years minimum as RN in Trauma Center
Licensed RN (compact able to convert to AZ licensure within 30 days of hire) or AZ license
